George Lassados

Executive Vice President

Mr. Lassados was member of the board of directors of Hambros Bank Limited having joined the Project Finance and Shipping Department in 1986.

He was Vice Chairman of the board of directors of Hambros Hellenic Mutual Funds Management S.A. and Alpha Trust S.A..

Mr. Lassados was a Managing Director at Union Bancaire Privee. In 1996 he joined Union Bancaire Privee’s London branch and served on the branch’s Management Committee and on its Credit Committee. In 2009 he transferred to Union Bancaire Privee’s  Zurich branch where he headed the Mediterranean Countries Team and served on the branch’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Lassados is an independent non-executive member of the board of directors of Marfin Investment Group S.A.. He was a member of the board of directors of Marfin Financial Services S.A. and Marfin Bank S.A..

He was a member of the campaign to endow the “Costas Th. Grammenos International Centre for Shipping, Trade and Finance”, Cass Business School, City University (London) and is member of its Allocation Committee. He was a member of the Investment Panel of City University (London).

Mr. Lassados holds a B.Sc. from Queen Mary’s College (London) and an MBA from City University (London).
