Before joining BOREAL to develop the firm’s Eastern European Desk, Robert has gained extensive professional experience in multiple jurisdictions, having lived and worked in Russia, Switzerland, Monaco, Cyprus and the UK.

Rob has well over fifteen years of banking experience and has worked in Eastern Europe since 2000. As a result of this, he has firsthand experience of the volatility and rapid changes that have taken place in the region during this period. Rob’s previous positions include Senior Banker at Union Bancaire Privee and Senior Banker at Coutts & Co. Rob began his career at Barclays Bank where he worked for nine years.

Rob has considerable experience in all aspects of commercial banking, investment banking, private banking and wealth management.

Rob is a British Citizen. He speaks French and is currently improving his Russian.
