Fernando Pérez-Hickman is a member of the boards of directors of Boreal Capital Management LLC and Boreal Capital Securities LLC, serving as an independent director.
With over 20 years of experience in managing financial institutions and investments in the United States, Pérez-Hickman is a senior partner at the real estate fund management firm Azora, where he is responsible for its expansion in the Americas.
Previously, he led Banco Sabadell’s business expansion in the Americas, growing its business volume from $1 billion to $20 billion. He created value by combining seven acquisitions of commercial and private banks, organic growth, and the sale of Sabadell United Bank to Iberiabank, which generated a $500 million capital gain for Sabadell. Following this transaction, Fernando Pérez-Hickman joined Iberiabank as Vice-Chairman and Director of Corporate Strategy.
Throughout his career, the Boreal board member has held other positions, including Managing Director of Santander’s Private Banking division in Miami. Earlier in his career, he worked at McKinsey & Company in Madrid, Lisbon, and Cleveland.
